In Corsica, chestnut trees are almost sacred – they are known as ‘bread trees’ or ‘trees of life’. Pietra is brewed fusing chestnut flour with malt during the mashing process making this beer truly unique.

Pietra is an amber chestnut beer. Sweet chestnuts soften the malty aroma, and distinct vanilla overtones, evident on the nose, follow through on the palate.  his combines with distinct sweet chestnut, malt digestive biscuit character and a slightly dry finish with a suggestion of hop bitterness. A truly unique beer – incredibly smooth, easy drinking, and deliciously tasty.
