BLACK SHEEP BREWERY
The Theakston family are now into their sixth generation of brewing in Masham, Yorkshire. Just over twenty years ago, when the family made the decision to sell their brewery to a multi-national, Paul Theakston established himself as the Black Sheep of the family by opening a new brewery in Masham. The Black Sheep Brewery is England’s biggest brewing success story of the last two decades, with beers built on traditional brewing methods (the ‘Yorkshire Squares’ method), and a commitment to the highest quality in ingredients and brewing practice.
