The Van Roy family has been the driving force behind the success of Palm breweries from the early 1900’s.  Palm Royale (“Roy’s Ale”) is a strong pale ale, first brewed on the occasion of Alfred Van Roy’s 90th birthday.

With distinctive fruit character derived from the symbiosis of three yeast strains used in fermenting this beer, banana is evident in the aroma, and this follows through on the palate to combine with citrus and apple notes.  Dry hop bitterness rounds out the flavour of this truly delicious beer.
