The witbier (white beer) style is a style that grew out of the use of gruut in brewing - notes of orange peel and coriander are typically evidenced in this style.  Steenbrugge Wit is a particularly refreshing beer, adding a new dimension with the addition of a more complex blend of herbs and spices to give notes of lemon citrus, clove and banana in addition to the base spice flavours.
