Bitburger - Germany

Germany’s Number One draught lager, Germany’s Number One dark lager (Köstritzer), and a wheat beer from a brewery in a Benedictine Abbey based in the Bavarian Alps in the South of Germany.

Three delectable beers representing the best of the three key signature beer styles – German Pilsner, Wheat Beer and Dark Lager – for which German beer is famous.

Benediktiner is an incredibly drinkable wheat beer.  In the classic hefe-weisse style, it pours with a good, frothy white head, and is amber-gold in colour. Aromas are of subtle spice, cloves, grain and fruit (lemon and soft fruits). The mouthfeel is, at once, velvety combined with a delightful effervescence, and the flavour simply delights – subtle banana, soft fruit, a touch of bubblegum, subtle spices and herbal green grass. Despite the complexity of flavour, Benediktiner is an incredibly drinkable and refreshing hefe-weiss.  Superb!!
