Heritage and Providence are important in brewing. Antoine Bosteels is the seventh generation of his family to run this brewery – so this brewery can boast heritage and providence abound. However, to be successful, it is even more important to have great tasting, high quality beers.

Bosteels has built their incredible success and popularity on three superb signature beers that are their interpretations of classic Belgian beer styles. Each one is a unique beer in its own right.

Kwak | 8.4% a.b.v. | Belgium

Some have said that Kwak’s signature glass is more famous than the beer itself. On tasting the beer, however, it is clear that the beer’s popularity is based on more than the peculiarity of the glass in which it is served. Kwak is a strong amber ale. Caramel and toffee combine with a hint of clove and dark fruits (plums, raisins, figs).  Complex and full flavoured, yet incredibly drinkable – this beer disguises its relatively high alcohol content (8.4%) with a superbly balanced array of flavours.
