Heritage and Providence are important in brewing. Antoine Bosteels is the seventh generation of his family to run this brewery – so this brewery can boast heritage and providence abound. However, to be successful, it is even more important to have great tasting, high quality beers.

Tripel Karmeliet | 8.4% a.b.v. | Belgium

Tripel Karmeliet is brewed to a recipe that dates back to 1679. 
Using three grains – malted barley, wheat and oats – and restrained additions of Styrian hops, this beer is gold to bronze in colour.  Aromas of vanilla and citrus are followed by a rich, yet superbly drinkable array of flavours that include light fruit, banana, subtle clove and white pepper all resting on a background suggestion of creamy vanilla. Tripel Karmeliet has incredibly balance, is deliciously complex – an unbelievably drinkable beer that can be savoured and enjoyed.
