Tripels are, by their nature, either particularly fruity or dry and hoppy.  Steenbrugge Tripel is most definitely the former - aromas of lemon, apricot, sour apple and other fruits are in evidence in Steenbrugge Tripel. This follows through in the taste of this beer, which develops with notes of dried apricot, white raisins and peppery spiciness.
For an easier drinking introduction to the tripel style (albeit, with a rich helping of alcohol) Steenbrugge Tripel is ideal.
