Situated in the beautiful town of Mechelen, North of Brussels, Brouwerij Het Anker is a family brewery now in its fifth generation.  Gouden Carolus refers to a golden coin originally minted in the time of Charlemagne, and bearing the imprint of the head of the famous emperor. The four beers from the Het Anker Brewery are named Gouden Carolus – superbly appropriate, as each one is a true treasure. Four beers, each with its own distinct personality, but all having the common characteristics of pure quality and delicious taste.
